Environmental Policy

We at HOEI believe that our natural environment is one of society's precious resources, of which, clean air, water and land are the elements that are most closely related to public interests.
Based on this philosophy, focusing on the two factors of environment and resources, we are conducting research and development that will contribute to the formation of a sustainable recycling-oriented society.

1. 1. We must predict and evaluate the environmental impact from our business activities such as the recycling of metal resources such as aluminum, and the collection, transport and intermediate processing of industrial waste, establish environmental objectives and targets, continuously improve as well as review our environmental management system, and prevent pollution.
2. 2. It is necessary to observe the environmental laws and conventions of national and local governments, and other agreed upon environment-related requirements.
3. 3. The key to environmental protection is understanding how to improve and take countermeasures against the source and using the earth's energy and resources efficiently, while ensuring proactive and sustained steps to tackle activities to minimize the impact on the environment.
4. 4. Each and every individual must be aware of and be responsible for the relationship between their job and the environment, and promote environmental management activities.
5. 5. We must value dialog with the local community, and actively cooperate with local environmental protection activities.
